Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement scalable and efficient Cloud data infrastructure.
Design robust data models and database layouts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather data needs and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Data Domain owners to create and uphold Data Governance and Data Sharing policies.
• Enhance database performance and uphold high standards of data quality.
• Continuously stay informed about industry best practices and new advancements in data management.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to team members.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution accompanied by at least four (4) years of IT experience; alternatively, in absence of a degree, a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant IT experience.
Seven (7) or more years of business intelligence and data management experience, including Data Architect positions; five (5) or more years working with cloud platforms (notably AWS), having led at least one significant cloud modernization effort.
Essential industry experience of at least five (5) years within Pharmaceutical commercial data domains; familiarity with GxP processes is an advantage.
Skilled in AWS technologies such as S3 and Glue, as well as Snowflake, Apache Parquet, DBT ETL tools, SnapLogic, middleware architectures, plus SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proficient in Semantic Data Models and Knowledge Graph construction using ontologies and taxonomies, delivering AI-focused data pipelines for NLP, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics.
Demonstrated capability in optimizing data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for both structured and unstructured datasets.
Strong architectural design expertise with confidence in advocating design decisions and fostering technical innovation.
Certifications like AWS Solution Architect are preferred; experience with Innovator tools is considered a plus.
Excellent analytical, communicative, and cooperative skills; adept at creating and defending intricate architecture designs.
